The Keenan Ranch has 1 yearling filly(December 2025) and 3 foals from late Spring 2026 that will be weaned late October/early November. All sired by DREA Chewelah Celilo "Chewy", our black near leopard herd stallion. The above slideshow includes images of 2026 colt, KR Magic Man, 2026 filly, KR Cheyennes Bay Beauty and 2025 filly, KR Winter Solstice(Winnie). Chewy, our stallion was purchased from Decker Red Eagle Appaloosas(Oregon) as a yearling in 2011. The foals and yearling were born in a 180 acre pasture of varied terrain, including brushy creek bottoms, open meadows and hills. They remain in this pasture until they are weaned. We normally wean late October or the first week of November. All will be ApHC registered and eligible for FPD(Foundation Pedigree Designation) at 100% through ApHC. Also eligible for Colorado Ranger Horse Assoc. registry. They are 6 panel clear by both dam and sire. The 2026 foals will be offered to new homes once they are weaned and we've had an opportunity to work with them. Check out our youtube channel for past yearlings from our program so you can see how we do groundwork and what we accomplish with them before offering them to new homes. Foals from our program have matured into wonderful trail horses, ranch horses, cowboy mounted shooting, ranch riding and trail competition and produced wonderful foals in other breeding programs. Versatility!
